Because our nurse is only available on a part time
basis, she is most often working in the community on Diabetes activities. If
you call the office between 9am and 1pm, our office assistant will take your
name and phone number and the nurse will return your call as soon as possible. We
are not able to respond to emergencies. Don’t hesitate calling your doctor
or going to the local emergency room if your condition needs immediate
attention.
You may get our answering machine, but again leave
your name, phone number and your question (be specific).
ECDA is fortunate to have the support of a
certified diabetes nurse educator. This service can only continue with your
