Marybeth A. Traut, B.S.

Author and Public Speaker, Marybeth Traut has lived her life in Girard, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Girard High School, she received her B.S. in Interior Design from Mercyhurst College. In 1997 she opened her own design firm and worked in her family's insurance agency, which she still does today.

Her newly published first book, "One Last Wish" (Tate Publishing Company), is a family's personal journey
 

 once Diabetes enters their lives.

Marybeth has been a public speaker for Diabetes. She has testified before Congress, is an advocate of the American Diabetes Association and an avid volunteer with the Erie County Diabetes Association.

Marybeth lives her mother's one last wish, "don't let people forget what Diabetes has done".
